Oh my goodness. Just came across a couple mouth-watering healthy recipes on Women's Health Mag that I just had to share!Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon, Asparagus and Goat Cheese
Yummies in your tummy
1/2 tbsp butter
asparagus with bottoms removed, chopped
4 eggs
1 tbsp fat free milk
2 tbsp crumbled fresh goat/feta cheese
2 oz smoke salmon chopped
What you do with your hands
1) Heat butter in pan and fry the asparagus. Add salt and pepper.
2) Whisk the eggs and milk then add to pan.
3) Turn down the heat! Stir and scrape the eggs. Before they're fully done, throw in the cheese!
4) Remove the eggs from the pan and fold in the salmon.
5) Say "mmmmmmm!!!", think about sharing (as it serves 2!), indulge!!!!
GTBB (aka. Green Tea, Blueberry, and Banana!) Smoothie
Yummies in your tummy
3 tbsp water
1 green tea bag
2 tsp honey
1 and half cup frozen or non-frozen blueberries
1/2 banana
3/4 cup light vanilla soy milk (or milk/milk product of your choice)
What you do with your hands
1) Make tea with the tea bag and hot water. Let it brew for 3 minutes.
2) Stir in the honey.
3) Put blueberries, banana and milk in blender and blend.
4) Add in the tea. Add water as needed.
5) Enjoy! (This only serves 1 so you can be a bit greedy and not share.....;) )
