honestly, what the eff is wrong with people????? do they have no respect for people, animals, or living things other than themslves?? when i read about something tragic or sad in the news, i usually think its unfortunate, that i'm lucky for what i have, and can deal with the world for what it is (a really sucky place. it is not our home!!)

but man oh man. TODAY. reading the Vancouver Sun made me SO angry and frustrated.

"Gunman kills 12, wounds 50 in Denver shooting at "Batman" movie"

-you took the lives of children, seniors, adults, young people, and physically and emotionally damaged the bodies and lives of all the other people in the theatre.
-affected numerous families. now broken families.
-you've scarred the thoughts of anyone who will ever enter that movie theatre, or any movie theatre
-not to mention you ruined a perfectly good movie.

"German Shepherd found in Kitsilano dumpster dies"

-who does that??? throws a helpless, injured, dying dog in a dumpster?? you're sick.

"Drunk driver goes to sleep in busy Abbotsford intersection with two kids in car"

-i guess at least you put your car in 'park' first. but this only needs to happen in a hangover movie, not in real life, with your own kid, and someone else's kid.

 it's so hard to imagine how we can still listen to God and love these people. i certainly have a hard time with it, and i'm not even directly affected. its hard to imagine how God can love us, unconditionally, even when we do things like this! it's impossible then, to imagine how much more He must hurt when we sin, as His love for us is unfathomable...
